Quality and the Joint Commission International
If you want to avail quality health care in hospitals in the Philippines, you can look for the Joint Commission International (JCI) seal of approval. JCI is an independent, nonprofit organization that evaluates and accredits health care facilities in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and South America and is considered the gold standard in global healthcare. JCI’s relationship does not stop with the initial accreditation, but works with health care organizations to help them maintain their accreditation, keep up to date with new standards, and offer guidance on performance improvement.
